| The Garrison and Killarney Retirement Centre offers retirement living in the heart of Mosman at Spit Junction, only minutes away from shops, banks, restaurants, library, cinema, bowls and clubs. Residents are able to maintain their contacts in the local community and continue to pursue the interests they have always enjoyed.
The low-care accommodation comprises 58 single and one-bedroom units with ensuite in The Garrison at Spit Road. It is a great comfort to residents to know they can activate their personal alarm if they have a fall or are not feeling well. The Garrison has very pleasant grounds and common areas all of which are available to low-care residents. Amenities include a dining room, sitting rooms, large screen TV, library, chapel, sewing and craft areas, swimming pool, shuffleboard and gym equipment. A full-time recreational officer organises a variety of activities, including gentle exercises, pet visits, jazz and other musical performances, and we offer the important support of chaplaincy. A bridge club is opposite The Garrison, next to the post office. Public transport is adjacent with good regular bus services to the city, Manly, Northern beaches and harbour foreshores. Taronga Zoo is nearby and there are many interesting walks along the beautiful harbour shore and inlets. |
