Lavender Cottage offers modern, boutique-style accommodation for 40 residents with a recognised diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related conditions who are mobile and require dementia-specific care.

Residents are provided with specialised care to help them maintain the best possible quality of life. Our staff are dedicated to creating a warm, secure and familiar environment and assisting each individual to preserve their existing skills.

In consultation, an individual care plan is constructed and implemented with physical health and emotional wellbeing monitored by registered nursing staff, medical practitioners, health professionals and personal carers. The privacy and dignity of residents is respected at all times.

Our aim is to create harmony between residents, staff and relatives. Visiting is unrestricted and family involvement encouraged. Regular church services are conducted and our chaplaincy team is available to offer support to residents and their families.
