| With sweeping views across the Singleton floodplain and mountains visible in the distance, Elizabeth Gates Nursing Home has a friendly atmosphere that reflects its rural surrounds. Animals graze in the rural setting with residents able to interact with them on a daily basis. There are also many shaded walking paths and gardens for residents and their families to enjoy Elizabeth Gates Village, incorporating both the Nursing Home and Hostel supports a person-centred philosophy and is the first Eden registered facility in NSW. The facility is committed to offering residents aged living rather than aged care and provides opportunities to give care and love as well as receive them. Relationships are built with the local community especially the local playgroups and schools who visit the home regularly to foster continuing nurturing associations.
