Playgroups for all ages!

 

UnitingCare Ageing Sydney Region organises playgroups where young children and older people have the opportunity to interact and communicate with each other.

Our 'intergenerational' playgroups provide UnitingCare Ageing's residents with the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences, as well as communicate with children on a level different to that of their day-to-day carers and neighbours.

The young children and their parents are also rewarded with an experience that helps them both appreciate and understand ageing by having direct contact with older people.

Intergenerational playgroups are currently held at The Marion in Leichhardt.
