Self Care Units / Independent Living Units

Independent Living Units are the ideal solution for those who wish to maintain their independence whilst living in a dependable environment that has the security of assistance at the touch of a button.

Each village is like a community within itself, with most of our villages being attached to Assisted Living/low Level Care facilities.

You will appreciate the comfort of living in the village knowing that all maintenance is taken care of. Gardening, lawn care, window cleaning and fire safety are all provided for a monthly maintenance fee.

Residents can feel independent but secure and forget the worries of home maintenance. Residents can make use of many services of the hostel, such as hairdressing, podiatry and meals upon request.

These units are unfurnished, allowing each resident the freedom of decorating to reflect their individual tastes.

All common areas are cleaned by the organisation, ensuring that the village environment is maintained to protect the health and safety of residents and visitors.

A common meeting room is maintained by the organisation. This room can be used for family lunches, resident gatherings and functions.

Upon entry to independent living units ingoing contributions are payable, depending on the village and unit size.

A large percentage of the ingoing contribution is refunded back to you upon your departure from the village.
