South City Men's Shed Official Opening

On Friday 20th May the South City Men’s Shed held its official opening. Approximately 50 guests enjoyed the ceremony which was greatly

anticipated by the men involved. After three years of trying to find a place to call home they

finally found a semi permanent location until their shed is built at the Gumly Gumly Public School.

The ceremony was held outdoors in mild weather and was officially opened by Kay Hull (former Federal Member for the Riverina) who warmly received applause as she rose to speak and Bob Kitchener, President of the South City Men’s Shed.

The official opening was followed by a wonderful array of sandwiches, cakes and a sausage sizzle.
